Fiction has always been a goal of mine, and I dabbled in it when my girls were little, but with the advent of blogging, most of my creative energies were poured into the internet. After a good, long break from writing at all, I have “wrapped some organization” around my ideas about writing, and I’ve realized that I’m still pretty interested in developing characters and placing them in some familiar but odd situations. So, here we go, I guess.
I have two projects in the hopper, and two in the development stage. We’ll let the latter two ferment for a while, but I’ll tell you about the two big projects right here, right now.
First, I am writing a book called Goodseller. If you click on the link, you can read about the book and check out my progress. That seems boring, so I’m trying to get some animated monkeys on the site that will scream at you while you read. I’ll let you know if that happens.
The second project is…oh look, I’m out of time. The second project is secret until mid-October (’11) – mostly because I’ve challenged myself to finish it by then, but if it does not happen, I don’t want the internets to be on my case. What I can tell you is that it is a collection of brand-new essays, and that I’m actively working on it and very excited about my progress. Again, I will keep you posted. Please check back around the aforementioned time to see if there is a link to the site, or if this paragraph has been replaced by some other babbly nonsense.
